What the Enterprise tier actually gates.
Seven capabilities declare REQUIRED_TIERS = ("enterprise",) in the implementation, and the four premium policy packs sit behind the same boundary. This is the whole tier gate, read from the code rather than proposed.

The four premium policy packs, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF and UAE Sovereign, are gated the same way. The Enterprise Baseline pack is available on every tier.
Evidence and verification are never gated. A receipt produced on Community verifies identically to one produced on Enterprise, offline, forever. Downgrading stops the gated capabilities and revokes nothing you already produced.
What has not been decided yet.

PENDING here means undeclared: nobody has said yet. It is the third value of the maturity vocabulary, and it is not a plan entitlement, not a deployment posture and not a runtime state. A capability can be implemented and still be commercially undeclared, which is exactly what several rows above are.

Is VerifAIer really local-first?
Yes. The evidence engine and all assessments run entirely inside your perimeter, no cloud dependency, no external calls and no telemetry.
Which frameworks does compliance cover?
Evidence coverage maps to EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 control packs, with audit-ready export.
Can we deploy in an air-gapped or sovereign environment?
Yes, the same deterministic engine runs from a developer laptop to a sovereign data center.
Can we buy it today?
No. There is no checkout, no subscription, no invoicing and no licence server, and billing is disabled by default. The tiers above are the commercial boundaries a future offer would use; they are not an order form.
Is there a signup?
Not on this website. Community use needs no account, no key and no time limit, and the first administrator of a self-hosted deployment is created by an operator script rather than by registering here.
Is SSO included with Enterprise?
No. sso and custom_packs are catalog flags with no enforcement point and no implementation. They are named in UNIMPLEMENTED_FEATURES and must not be sold as available.
How do we integrate it?
Twelve production APIs, one official Python client and the vai command line, with deterministic signal export into your existing SIEM, data lake and platforms. Nothing is published to PyPI or npm.
